david beckham confronts boo boys

David Beckham was just one kung-fu kick away from emulating his Old Trafford predecessor, Eric Cantona, when he tried to leap over an advertising board to confront his own team’s booing fans. In fact, one fan climbed down from the sitting area after Beckham urged him down. Becks later claimed he just wanted to shake the fan’s hands.
Personally, I think its hilarious. Nice to see the ugly head of British Hooliganism reached that part of the world. In a serious note though, Beckham apparently swored at the fan and there were a couple of ball-kids (as they like to called them in the USA) in the vicinity and pretty sure there were some at the stands too. Quite unprofessional and ironic after calling out Landon Donovan for being unprofessional for his public criticism of the LA Galaxy captain.
See what you make of it.

Hahahhahahahah … When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. … hahhahahha ROTFL
Pretty lol picture you have there :D
Betting Cantona is very sad that the comparison has even been made.
I hate to say it, but I’m proud of the Galaxy fans. It’s good to see that there are some pure football fans here in America. Becks has played in the largest stadiums in the world, much larger and more hostile than the tiny Home Depot Center, and the Galaxy fans got to him. Whatever they did, they did it right, and they showed that they are fans of the club, not the face of the club.
not a fan of beckham’s reaction to the crowd but i kinda sympathised with him. with the world cup around the corner and at his age, i understand his selfishness to play for ac milan rather than la galaxy so he can get into the world cup squad next june. after all, the difference is miles apart.
I admire Beck’s character thou, would have been the leader if he was still at United
