Lazio beat Inter Milan 2-1 in the Italian Supercoppa in Beijing’s Olympic Bird Nest Stadium (I think this is a great idea, playing the curtain raiser abroad. Better than that stupid “39th game” abroad anyway).
Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan dominated the game but failed to capitalise on their chances. Lazio’s Francelino Matuzalem scored the first goal in the 63rd minute before Tommaso Rocchio doubled their lead four minutes later. Inter new signing from Barcelona, Samuel Eto’o pulled one back for the league champions 12 minutes from time. Inter continued to dominate but were wasteful in front of goal.
With Ibra i the team they would have won.. They won everything in Italy with him so Samuel has alot 2 live up too!!! UTV
idk, still think eto’o > ibra though.
inter were unlucky, they had chances but either keeper got the ball or it went wide.
