Bristol City 2-1 Boro and Oh Yeah, Paul Hartley’s Beard Reads my Blog
Paul Hartley’s release from Celtic and subsequent signing for Bristol City meant I would need to start paying more attention to the Football League.
And in 5 matches, City have won 10 pts, putting them 5th in the Championship division, and Hartley doing well a goal on debut for the Robins and 2 assists to see Nicky Maynard through to double nets today in City’s tie with Middlesbrough.
And I know this may seem crazy, but evidence may suggest Paul Hartley reads my blog and grooms his facial hair accordingly.
May I present exhibits A – D:
Exhibit A: Paul Hartley signs for Bristol City. I complain about his clean shaven face.
Exhibit B: Paul Hartley appears to be growing out the scruff as requested
Exhibit C: Hartley Goes too far and we ask him to tone it down
Exhibit D: From today’s match- Hartley brings it back under control
I know. I didn’t believe it at first either. All a coincidence? I just don’t think so.
So, Paul Hartley, if your beard is indeed reading my blog and taking my advice on facial grooming practices, perhaps your beard should also take my advice and call me. Ta.
