eduardo dive ban overturned

UEFA has overturned Eduardo da Silva’s two-match ban for diving. The striker was initially suspended after found guilty of diving to win a penalty in the Champions League qualifier against Celtic late last month.
A UEFA statement on Monday said: “Following examination of all the evidence, notably the declarations of both the referee and the referees’ assessor, as well as the various video footage, it was not established to our satisfaction that the referee had been deceived in taking his decision on the penalty.“
And Arsene Wenger said UEFA’s punishment wasn’t “defendable“.
Eduardo is now available to face Standard Liege on Wednesday and Olympiakos in a fortnight.

Here’s my take: Simulating Progress: One Step Forward but Two Steps Back
You see the article from the scientist who has determined an easy way to tell if a player has dived? Chest out, arms up (as seen here) should indicate a fake.
Interesting.
