Sol Campbell has sensationally quit Notts County after only playing one game.

The former England defender was unveiled only three weeks ago after signing a £10m, five-year contract with the League Two outfit and after making his debut in the 2-1 loss against Morecambe last Saturday, Campbell asked manager Ian McParland to be released from the £40,000-a-week deal he signed.

What’s next for the former Tottenham and Arsenal star? He will be in great demand because he will be a free transfer. S0 expect him to return back to the Premier League soon.

Canpbell turned 35 recently, Premiership chairmen would be mental to take a punt even at four grand a week. Naomi Campbell would be a better investment, at least she’s got the stomach for a fight. I doubt she’d vanish for a fortnight after a shite first half against Rotherham either.
