Carlo Cudicini Injured in a Serious Motorcycle Accident

36 year old Tottenham Goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini was involved in a serious accident Thursday morning when his BMW motorbike collided with a Ford Fiesta in Walthamstow.
The Italian is said to have broken wrists and possibly a broken pelvis.
“London Ambulance Service, helicopter emergency medical service, and police attended and discovered the 36-year-old male motorcyclist suffering from injuries described by LAS as possibly life-changing. He has been taken to an east London hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
-Metropolitan Police Spokesperson
As of now, Cudicini has undergone hospital scans and Tottenham will release a statement once more information is known.
There were no arrests made, and the driver of the Fiesta was not injured.
Cudicini is in the final year of his contract at White Hart Lane after coming on in the January Window as a free transfer from Chelsea last season. He has been backing up Heurelho Gomes, with a recorded 7 appearances this season.
WDKF wishes Carlo a speedy recovery.

Seems a bad week for keepers, first the suicide of Enke in Germany, now Cudicini having an accident. Hope he recovers soon enough and is able to play for some more time.
Been a huge fan of Carlo since Chelsea signed him years ago , quality player and pro, get well soon Carlo.
Before I start, I’ll own up to a vested interest, THFC has been my labour of love for far too many years, as a fan it’s a pity Cudicini wasn’t signed some years ago. Even at 36 Carlo – Cudicini is good enough to not be an understudy.
Very best wishes from this Tottenham fan for a speedy recovery and no after effects. With the reported injuries though, I can’t help thinking of a pianist with broken fingers, bad analogy I realise, but talking with a Pro’ goalkeeper recently, (another top quality second string), he was explaining how crucial strong wrists are.
In London Ambulance Service speak, I sincerely hope “possibly life changing” doesn’t mean career threatening.
Get well soon Carlo
i hope for a speedy recovery for him
but……why was he riding a motorcycle? Most footballers have it in their contracts that they are not allowed to ride because of club insurance rules? Very very odd.
